Hello! I am glad you chose to explore my page! My name is Lily Jenkins. I am a student at the University of Colorado Boulder studying art practices. I’m not totally sure what my focus is yet but I’ve loved exploring the art world ever since I could pick up a crayon. My mom was an art major in college so I've been around creative people my whole life and some say it's genetic and a no brainer that I want to become an artist just like my mother. I grew up constantly doing crafts and excelling in creative classes in school more so than others.  I didn’t think I wanted to go into art during college though, because I thought it was all drawing and painting (which aren't my favorite) so I just wanted to keep it as a hobby,  but I soon figured out how much art means to me and all the different types of art there actually are. I've been interested in the digital world ever since I was 10 years old when I received my first camera. I love digital (and film) photography by itself but I also enjoy manipulating photos in photoshop and collaging them together. Outside the digital art world I am very interested in relief printmaking. I love having a specific process to follow, but still be able to express myself through creativity. I find printmaking very satisfying and rewarding. Most my art is inspired by things I love and mean a lot to me for example the ocean.
