This will be presented on November 2nd, 2021 from 7-9 at our art show at Spectra Art Space in Denver, "Illuminescent Beamscape"
First I collaborated with a partner to create a flyer for our art show. The flyer turned out just how we had imagined and I feel that it captures the theme of our art show perfectly. This project completely changed from my original idea/plan. Since we were on a time crunch, I collaborated with a partner (Ari Alpert). We created an infinity box out of 12" square mirrors to project into. we then found gifs and videos we thought were aesthetic and put them together in premier to create a flowing video loop. We then used the software VDMX to create a live show projecting live effects over the video we created. This project explores the meaning of media consumption and internet identity. Unfortunately I got sick and was unable to attend the art show, but still presented for the class.
